I just LOVE how this turned out! I made this card for Polly's Ways To Use It challenge called Time for Tiles. I do a bit of thrifting with my daughter now and then and I once picked up a bunch of loose scrabble tiles for dirt cheap. I knew they would end up on a card and I couldn't be more pleased.
I die cut the heart and sponged its edges along with the edges of the patterned paper. I colored the wood heart to match the scrabble tiles and then used glue dots to make them all stick!
I kind of get a conversation heart vibe from this card. I think it might be the colors in the paper.
Thanks for looking!

Extra, extra points for you Toni for using actual Scrabble tiles! This is great for a Mother's Day and I agree about the conversation heart vibe. Sweet card.

I absolutely love the pairing of the scrabble tiles with wood heart. The PP is just beautiful and the addition of sponging on the heart and paper really work well for the card. It has a very vintage feel to it.

Those are the real wood tiles!! So much nicer to feel than the plastic ones, although we did switch to Travel Scrabble at one stage to make it easy to pass the board around. Sweet card, Toni. The floral paper is so pretty.
