For today's IC, Kia took us to Dans le Lakehouse. I chose to be inspired by the first photo that Kia shared. I've been very busy lately & wanted to take time for a card. We are cleaning out 45 years of accumulation. What a job!!
For my card., I chose to do a square card. I used a stencil & a blending brush to do a fern frond. I used Olive first & went over that in Bermuda ink & stamped the greeting in White.
Thanks Kia for the inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by.

I love how everyone can take something different from the same photo. At least three of us were inspired by the same picture. This is a beautiful card. I love ferns and your stencilled frond is so calming against the grey. Super card.

A beautiful fern stenciling! it looks like a press of a real fern! I feel your pain in clearing out - we are having work done on just one room and I need to clear almost everything out - a good way to get me to throw things out too!

The IC challenge is always one of my favorites to take part in and so glad you found time to participate today too. I have had a lot less stamping time lately myself, but it always fun to see my stamping friends in the galleries on the days I make it here. Pretty card!
