Happy Good Friday people. I had to grin and make this after I came across this almost folk art looking hen inside the backyard chickens board. seen here. It really made me think of those old Chick cards Michelle used to make ( like this) and so, I decided to give it a whirl. I am giving this to a man who really flicks me crap when I make him "girly" cards but, the sentiments ( see the inside here on the blog) is just silly since I intend to give him eggs from our hens with the card. So, I switched out the flowers for dots. You can find this challenge here to play along with us, Thanks for this challenge Kia & tfl.

Love your chicken and her tatted wing embellishment. I think I cased Michelle's chicken long ago. :-) The using the hearts for wattles and wing look great!

Fun country chick. I love the sentiment of course, and I think your dh's buddy will find no fault with this birthday card. He might even laugh. I did!

I'll bet this adorable birthday card, along with the eggs, will be a huge hit with that gentleman .... especially when the reads the fun inside sentiment!
