Here is my card for Teapot Tuesday. Our challenge is to create a card using a favourite technique. My absolute favourite thing to do is to emboss. I like the look of dry embossing but love the magic of heat embossing. For this card I have used both embossing techniques. This card will stay in the family. I have 3 nieces expecting a first child; 2 due in the same week.

Wow! Congrats to the family. Your reunions are going to be so fun with all those infants to coo over. I have always loved that patch and your colors and patterns look terrific here. Wonderful colors for a baby card. And the embossing adds the perfect finishing touch. Great card.

Beautiful paper quilt you've created with these pretty pastel papers. I love the sentiment. The little paper buttons finish this off perfectly. I love embossing, too!

beautiful. I remember an episode of All in The Family when Mike and Gloria were fighting about having a baby. He said the world was in too bad shape to bring in a baby... in the end he wrote that sentiment to her.... This card came out great. Love the embossed quilting squares...

Oh Vicky, this is so pretty! Love all the colors and patterns, and the embossing over. Congrats on your soon to be additions! (Now you have to make more cards.)
