This is my card for today's sketch challenge as well as today's Alphabet Challenge S is for Scrabble.
First, I stamped my lady with her umbrella and then masked her to proceed with creating the background.
I sponged my background with Coastal Cabana and Pacific Point inks, masking a horizon line. Then I used various shades of blue Copic markers to create my rain storm. Kristina Werner just did this in a video recently and I decided to give it a try. I don't have all the blue Copics she has but wanted to give it a try and am happy with how it turned out. After coloring in the rain with the texture, I added white rain with the gel pen making sure to have some over the focal image as well.
I die cut my three clouds (one was too big so I die cut it and then used the same cloud die to make it smaller) and colored them with Copics as well. I'm not so sure about how they turned out. For my sun, I die cut a circle and then die cut the triangle banner twice from two different colors. I added shading to all parts of the sun and then adhered each triangle separately after cutting it from the banner. The top cloud is popped up with foam tape.
My sentiment is printed Scrabble tiles matted with black card stock.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

Great job creating the rain storm .... love the 'white rain' you made with the gel pen, too!
