Paris is the City of Light. I hadn't done the WT yet-spring in Paris, I already had the idea of using the lyrics to Cole Porter's 'I Love Paris' and when I saw this in the IC, I knew where to go: https://playingcarddecks.com/product...ng-cards-uspcc
And Kim's VSN worked out beautifully. I'm sure there is great pasta in Paris.
I printed the lyrics on a gold flecked paper, heat embossed the swirls...such a long time since I used these good old flourishes from AL. Found some Paris postage wood mounted stamps and then the stickers from Dollar Tree. Gotta have an old street lamp when you're in Paris, I think. And a park bench to gaze at the Seine and the spring blossoming trees. I'll probably never get to Paris. Thanks for the challenges, everyone!

Simply beautiful. I love the song lyrics and really, could apply it to anywhere. I copied it down and put my hometown in it because it reminds me of that. I saved to my favorites.

Beautiful card! I have those flourished too and they look marvellous framing Porter's lovely lyrics. Your bench and lamp post really evoke what I think Paris must be like. I haven't been either but maybe someday.

Cool card, Jean! I love the gold swirls embossed on your song lyrics, and the postage stamp is such fun. The lamp post is amazing. Reminds me of Midnight in Paris.

What a great way to combine all 3 challenges! And the swirls in the background paper and the park bench are perfect for Spaghetti challenge. Thanks for playing along!
