I am a Leo so I have an affinity with lions...because I'm so lioness-like. Not really! The lion is a very old wood mounted. I stamped him on an alcohol ink background I had, I believe it is a gel print with ai. Underneath that is another ai background, I know I used a stencil but otherwise no idea how it came about. It's a really cool shiny piece. I used gold printer paper to print out the sentiments and scanned the page of my old dictionary with the lion definition. Added a few stamped images, some collagy stuff, that's it. I used today's sketch for it. Thanks for the challenges.

This is so cool, Jean! All your elements work together beautifully and create movement that your eyes have to follow. Your old lion stamp is a classic!

Great collagy card. I really struggle with making this kind of card and always admire your ability to grab whatever is lying on your desk and some stuff that you have "no idea how it came about", throw it together to make something wonderful.

Love all the details in this - the base background is gorgeous. I'm impressed with the gel print one, I tried several times and called it again. Great sentiment, lovely lion; rather like Aslan in the Pauline Baynes illustrations.
