This is my sample for the Color Challenge hosted by teammate, Chris. Her color choices are: Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand and Petal Pink with something wood related for the dessert option.
My card combines old and new with a retired stamp set and newer dies for the layers. My Sahara Sand ink pad needs to be replaced so I needed a stamp I could ink up with markers. This stamp was an old favorite and a good choice for the technique. It was stamped on Very Vanilla and then die-cut with the new Radiating Stitches die. It was then layered on Sahara Sand with die-cut deckle edges. The sizing of these two die sets fit together nicely for layering.
I cut a lace doily in half and accented the corners. Final touches are silver Liquid Pearl drops in the flower centers and for dessert, a wood stem embellishment.
We hope you will join in and give this color combo a try. I look forward to seeing what you create! TFL

So simple and so Pretty, Diane. I've always liked these flowers and you've used them so well....especially with those silver centers. The doilies give it a feminine touch. Well done~
