This card took a bit of finagling and it's still not quite right but I made it in an effort to save something that wasn't working. That item was the leaf rub-ons from the $ store, alias the $1.25 store. They didn't work at all, not matter what I did. So, undeterred, I thought I could just use them as an acrylic sheet for a tent card. A little flimsy, naturally, but it is passable.
I was pretty flabbergasted by the beauty in Christine's gallery... she and Kittie are kindred spirits, I think. What gorgeousness they both create. I chose this to case because I like leaves more than flowers: Fallen Leaves by Crafty Meme at Splitcoaststampers
I know the sentiment probably doesn't go well with fall colored leaves but those leaves that are about to drop in the fall were once green and alive. The leaves are cut from panels I did with photo paper and DOx inks, kind of like wrinkle free distress. I'm quite happy that this whole card was made from stash or scraps. Thanks for the challenges, Kittie!

Jean I love your creative process AND your lovely card. The sentiment goes perfectly well! Nice job, sorry it seems flimsy but just tell handlers to be gentle.

Wow! I'm impressed by both the look of this card and the creative process used to put it together. I love the fall and all the colourful leaves myself. That corduroy button looks great with your leaves and reminds me I have some of them around ...somewhere.

I do love cards with an acetate window and those gold leaves against the dark blue look wonderful. I, too, am a bigger fan of Autumn than the other seasons. I love the rich dark colors of the greens, golds, oranges and burgundies, no naturally I love the leaves and borders here too. As always, you've delivered both a beautiful and creative design. Great card.

Terrific case. Love the gold leaves on the clear panel. The tent card fold was clever. Wonderful colors for the autumn look. Creative ideas for a great card.

The gold leaves are super pretty as is your top focal point. I think it came out well with its darker colors and leaf theme. The sentiment works too. Hugz
