I drew bunches of lines with my marker trying to get the effect of weaving. I had finished the little HM ATC earlier this week and couldn't decide what to do with it. This worked perfectly!
Don't you love this HM image? It was gifted to me by a sweet SCS friend (thanks, sweet friend) and is very special to me as my Mom collected them and LOVED them. I know she would have totally flipped over this image. I watercolored the images and popped up some layers to create some depth and make it look like he is really taking a nap in the rose petals.

That HM image is just the sweetest! You colored it to perfection. And your bg is so cool....I love the way you made it and the muted color palette that goes so well with your ATC.

I really like the way you interpreted the rug with the lines. And you are so right. That adorable panel was just the thing to add!!!

Like your cute House Mouse, sleeping is a good thing. Love doing that! Your card is cute, and that bg paper with the lines, really makes the card stand out!

Wow, Nancy, your beautifully watercolored roses look so gorgeous on your amazing handdrawn background. I didn't notice the House Mouse at first, but what a cute surprise sleeping in the petals. Beautiful sentiment, darling card!
