This is my card for alpha challenge round 18 letter Q - quiz. My first response to this challenge was that I had no idea what to use for this, and that seemed like a quiz or test, causing my test anxiety to kick in. I finally ended up making up a quiz like you'd give a 1st grader to fill in words that were part of a 1st grade reader. Whew! I'm so glad I'm not still in school.
I dirtied it up with some coffee and tore the edges, making it old and worn; it's obviously been stored in a box of papers from long ago.
The background includes the quiz, as well as old book pages and music, and pieces of a recycled security envelope. I added a fussy cut flower, some pretty paper and hand-crocheted lace. After stamping the sentiment, I cut the words apart, distressed them with ink and glued them down. Then I added some black watercolor pencil and brushed it with a water brush to give the words a 3D look shadow.

Wow, Melody, this is gorgeous! I love that background with all the different components, your beautiful fussy cut bloom, that wonderful lace, and the shadow you added to the sentiments. Fabulous!
