I had planned to make a card using either the floating frame or floating strips, and Sandie's beautiful card nudged me to actually do it. Without a lot of time, I went for the strips, and used some from the tray I keep for offcuts of homemade backgrounds. I added a feather buffed with luster rub-ons and edged with a gel pen, and I added a die--cut word from gold glitter paper layered on dark blue glitter paper. I may be able to get a better photo later when DH isn't at his home desk, which is right where I take my photos.
I used the tutorial linked in the challenge post (Floating Strips Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers) .

Gorgeous. Love the idea of a feather being a floating project.

The floating strips are always a fun thing to do. The results are so good every time. I love the feather and glittery HOPE.
