My parents are about to celebrate their 70th anniversary. I had to do something EXTRA for this card.
They had 25th and 50th anniversary celebrations. Recently we had a family wedding for one of their grandchildren so the 70th picture is from that day. I knew we had a great series of pictures and thought it would be fun to show them off.
The twist and pop tutorial is great to walk you though the steps. I always have a difficult time following the directions when it comes to gluing the mechanism in. It's not the tutorial, it's the brain I have to work with... DH helped me figure it out the first time. It helped that I kept a sample. I'm visual, so I could look and see how to do it right away with a sample I could hold in my hands.
PS--I have to point out that my mom wore her wedding dress for the 25th anniversary celebration. It STILL fit!
