This is my card for CC940. Barbara is our hostess and she chose soft succulent, soft suede and mango melody for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is designer paper.
For my sample, I decided to try and create an Easter card with these colors. I used wild honey distress ink and a stencil for my sun rays.
The empty tomb and angel are dies from CottageCutz. I used smokey slate cardstock to cut the tomb and then sponged with lost shadow distress ink. The greenery around the tomb is cut in soft succulent and then sponged with the same color ink.
Scripture states that an angel appeared and announced that Jesus had risen. I stamped my sentiment in soft suede ink with the idea the angel is speaking the words. Added a few rhinestones to complete my card.
Hope you can play along with us this week and give these colors a try on your card projects.
