This was jump started by this tea towel which ends up being #14 on the thread seen here for this weeks Inspiration challenge. I normally email my self a link to the pin I saved but, this time I did not and now I cannot get that site to show it to me again sorry. here is a link to thread.
I had placed an order a while back with stamps by Judith & heather and was really pleased with how large this chick is in real life. I did use a brown fine liner pen on the eyes and nostrils of the beak. Decided to use the Tim Holtz bitty stapler to attatch the ric rac rather than running it around the edges like normal to give it a little more of a frazzled look like the chick has. I know that this has more Red as the pop color than black but, I hardly ever use yellow so, this is a truly inspired by thing rather than a CASE.
