This is my card for alpha challenge round 18 letter N - nerf. My son had a nerf gun, and the ammo was little donut shaped sponge. They didn't fly very far, and certainly didn't hurt if you were hit by one. I'm not sure why, but for some reason, there was one stashed in a drawer, so I included it in the photo. My son is now in his 30's, and the gun is long gone. Anyway, I took my inspiration from the donut shape and made a donut shaped card. I used a digital image for the shape. The sprinkles are lots and lots of punched circles glued on. I wrote the sentiment.

Great memory and interpretation Melody. Gosh glueing the dots would have taken a while. They are glued on perfectly. Happy day

Such a fun card, Melody. I'm sure the ammo was in the drawer because someone found it somewhere and stashed it. The Nerf guns we had with the girls had a cylinder shaped ammo and we found a number of them throughout the house when we were getting it ready to sell!
Goodness, Melody, that must have taken some time to glue all those sprinkles on!

I am jealous!!! Ha ha ... this is cool -- and if the sun ever comes out, I am buying me a doughnut!
