There are a few historic moments that we all remember exactly where we were and The Beatles performance on The Ed Sullivan Show is one of them! I chose a black and white photo of them since we only had a B&W TV and mounted it inside a 60's era TV with acetate for the screen. Cut out some silhouettes of three children (my brother, sister and me, of course). Stamped the BG and embellished with Mossy Meadow blender pens. Found the Beatles font and printed the song title on my computer. Die cut the notes, with apologies to anyone who reads music if I have made some musical gaffe! Looking at this reminds me of my mother telling us not to sit too close to the TV or it would hurt our eyes. Thanks for inspiring so many great memories with this challenge!

I love this..brings back memories! This could be my sister and I..we loved it when the Ed Sullivan show had them on. I remember they'd put something like "he's single" when they'd show the guys, except John who was married at the time. Very cute card!

Love the retro look of this card and esp that television (Zenith? lol) with the black and white imaging, and even your avocado green paisley background is so reminiscent of the 60’s. Great card!

Amazing. Looks exactly like it was in the 60’s. I was so upset when those girls in the audience screamed cause I couldn’t hear them sing. Plus the darn TV cameras were always panning the audience and not focused on the Beatles.

What a perfect card. Love the details and the memories it brings back including the your mother's (and mine) comments about sitting too close to the TV.

What lovely memories. Kids in front of the TV watching the Beatles live. We didn't get Ed Sullivan here - but I can still remember sitting glued to the TV set when the Beatles first made a visit here in Australia and watching them walking down the stairs of the aircraft. Crowds and lots of screaming.
