This is for both of today's challenges. I don't think it's a stretch that this is a fold and there are very few layers.
The CAS is all about warmth. I didn't want to do coffee or staying snuggly warm inside or anything like that. So I'm looking through my Club Scrap stamps for inspiration and I found the sentiment featured on the front. Yes, education can 'light a fire' in someone's life. If you've ever read 'Educated', you'll understand. There is nothing like reading/studying that can lead to the fire of knowledge. And I don't know about you but lying in bed at night, reading a book, is just about the warmest thing I can think of.
There are two other photos of this card so you can see the inside. This front is a pocket for the piece sticking up; the piece will slide down into the pocket.
A while ago I had printed some book pages on my gel plate with acrylic paint so I tore some of those for embellishments. Used warm colors for the most part.
Thanks for the challenges!

Ah - I have Educated on the Kindle and haven't got to it yet. I think I bought it after some book-themed challenge, maybe a Teapot Tuesday one. Great card, super use of the fold.

I have read Educated; what perseverance to get that education! And I agree with you, can't think of anything warmer or more enjoyable than laying in bed at night with a good book!
I love the stamps you have used on this creation and your printed books ~ wonderful sentiments!
