I'm also counting it into my challenge from yesterday. because the stamped and painted background has been around since I didn't complete it for a challenge a couple of years ago. Both sides were stamped, one coloured. And with black watercolour paper the price it is, I didn't want to waste it. Stamping the grid in gold and embossing it, and covering up most of the original bird, have given it a new lease of life. I doodled a frame with gold pen.
For my tiles I followed the tutorial in the Inkling this week: Mini Mixed Media Tiles Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers Will do better next time, the purple was a bad choice to cover up when I saw I'd missed a couple of patches with the gold and green, so then I had to go in with the luster rub-ons.

I love the embossed grid. The card is so elegant and for some reason reminds me of the Victorian age. Stunning piece of art. Happy weekend
