Here is my rescued hot air butterfly balloon. I took Jenn Shurkus' distress watercolor pencil class this past weekend and was coloring along as she talked. I've had these watercolor pencils for at least a month but was "too afraid" to use them. She put my mind at ease and this is what I made. It's amazing how bright these pencils color and now of course, I must have all the sets of them and they are coming tomorrow. I watercolored these butterflies but then went back in and added some darker details to the middles and feel like they look much better. I almost threw it in the trash! It will be 83 degrees in Charlottte, NC today so I hope to get out and enjoy it before it rains tomorrow!!

Beautiful and just fabulous work with those watercolor pencils. The colors are so intense. Love the image. We are in 80's today, too, and yesterday.
