EXCLUDE:
SPIN: square card
I love these 3 colours together and I'm on a mission to use up some of my backgrounds, so I grabbed 3 bold, pretty solid ones from my 'background box' and die cut lots of circles from them. I blended ink onto half of each circle to add some subtle interest, and adhered them to a white panel before embossing it all.
I added some gold watercolour splatter.
I added a die cut sentiment stacked on top of a pearlescent vellum circle. If your die cut needs 'legibility' help but doesn't have its own shadow, using a simple shape like a circle is a great option.

I really love everything you create! By the way, I had a close friend with the same name as you, but she spelled it Ardith
And funny side note, my mom always thought her name was artist! Very fitting for you!

Fabulous! I love how your embossed circles resemble the roses in Pam's inspiration card even though they are so different. I also love this clever idea of die cutting and embossing circles to create the bg. And thanks for the tip about using a velum shape to highlight a word die. Great card.
Ardyth, this is bright and cheerful case of Pam's card. I love how you added color to half of each circle. It really added dimension. Embossing over the whole layer added another touch of dimension and interest. So clever and creative.

Such fab bright colors and happy feel, Ardyth. Love those textured circles and the giant happy birthday. So festive and fun. You and color are such good friends. Hugz

I am putting this in my fave file --- that is such a neat idea of making circles like that; and then embossing it. It is cool how that shows thru.
