What a sweet Mix, Polly! I subbed in the grocery instead of a hardware store, though I do need to get some drywall mesh...
I decided on using a piece of cardboard torn from a box to die cut the tag. Stamped the sentiment (a Wendy Vecchi), Max (My Acrylix) using the Black Diamond embossing powder. It has a nice subtle sparkle. The tip and bottom of the tag were dry embossed with a grass pattern from TH and smudged with Gelato's. Found a little sentiment from a sticker book. The trim at the top is from a produce bag.
I am going to slip this into the cute vintage letter holder and leave it on my neighbors porch. They recently said goodbye to their rescued dachshund after a happy 15 years. His name was Max. What a blessing animals are to our lives!
Happy weekend all! Thanks for stopping by.

Cute and thoughtful ideas here. My aunt and late uncle loved doxies, my aunt has one of those longer haired ones with reddish and white hair. Name is Augie.
