The WCW challenge for this week was a very very very very very etc. fun abstract, using different tools. I'm submitting this for the MIX also. Polly gave us some prompts to use, kind of like a mix and match bag of candy. Yes, I remember that! I doodled, I used a nail to scratch on the paper, I used staples and a paper clip, I used sterling ep on the edges. The credit card, which is used often in a hardware store (hah! gotcha!) was used to make lines with tubed watercolor paint. I also used a brush to push things around. I splattered with some of the tubed paint and some metallic paint. It is hard to know when to stop and if you like control, this probably isn't for you. I dislike control most of the time so it's perfect! And the snarky sentiment came from Polly, I think, so PERFECTION! (she says nope so who gave them to me??) Thanks for the challenges! PS The Zentangle pattern is called Ash Leaf.

We're neighbors today, eJ! Love, love, love, love your exuberant Mixed piece...and funny I actually came across that sentiment going through my labels. You picked a smile inducing one for sure! Well mixed, df.

What a lovely free hand you have with your 'canvas'. I love it. I have a very hard time with this sort of thing. You are an inspiration for sure. I too smiled at that sentiment. Great card!

Fun colours. I like the abstract background paired with the leafy tangle. Cool sentiment, though retail therapy isn't exactly my thing. And I do like control, my problem with some background techniques is that they produce one-offs, whereas I would like to be able to reproduce them.

Good work on the abstract painting. I really had fun with this one, too. It was so quick and easy. Love your zentange, too.
