One of the first cards I ever made was a shaker card and I still enjoy making them now and then. I thought a snow globe would make for a fun shaker. Since I wanted the globe to be dimensional, the shaker window is behind the globe, not a part of the globe.
Stamp the globe on Clearly For Art Modeling Film and stamp snowflakes with white ink. Color at the back with alcohol ink. Cut a circle from watercolor paper. Apply Distress Ink to a non-stick craft sheet, mist with water and press the paper into the ink. Immediately emboss in an embossing folder. When dry, add some gold wax around the edges.
Adhere a piece of acetate to the back of the window and line with foam tape. Fill with sequins and jewels. Place another piece of acetate on top to seal the shaker. Adhere the entire front panel with foam tape to blue paper and then to folded brown cardstock.
Thank you so much for looking!
Happy stamping!
