I used Permanent Rose and Royal blue for my abstract. I started by tapping in some parallel lines with the edge of a credit card using paint full strength from the tube.
Spritzed with water then drew the color away from the lines with a # 8 round brush. A couple of areas had heavy concentrations of paint so I used a bamboo skewer to drag the paint away from those areas in wavy lines. (I may have gotten carried away with that concept but it is after all ABSTRACT.) Added a stamped sentiment and just the flourish from the sentiment a 2nd time.

I love it!! My first look made me think of nautical, but this could also be fireworks! It's fun when I can look at a painting and many ideas pop into my head! This is one of those times. I love it. I am so glad I chose a challenge you could use while waiting for that surgery! Hugs!

We did say this was easy and it sure is and also quick. I like using my credit card for something other than buying something. I had broken mine into 2-3 pieces and it worked well. This looks somewhat patriotic with those colors and I like the scrolls from your sentiment. Hope you had fun.
