I keep seeing clear-block stamped backgrounds, something I have not done in quite a long while. I inked SU Block D with Saffron and stamped my front panel then (leaving my positioning tool in place) cleaned the Block and rolled the edges in Crumb Cake to stamp again.
The floral was stamped in Black over the background, then again on a separate piece to stamp the colors. I cut in 5 pieces because I did not worry about the narrow stems.
I figured out the tiniest fill stamp works for the pollen (see envelope) AND the bee! This did take longer than anticipated.
Inside: same as envelope

I haven't used that technique for a long while either. Thanks for the reminder and the beautiful example! Love the design with the block 'diamond-wise'.

So pretty Gayle. And I love the embossed swirly lines on the large white mat. It makes me think that little bee was buzzing all around the edges.
