I chose this photo since the image reminded me of an older stamp that I have. I watercolored the image and then cut it out to be mounted on the center, gold-edged panel. I did the Celtic knot panel with the faux fresco technique that can be found here. That panel was cut to give the scalloped edges and edged with gold.

This is gorgeous, Sallie! Water coloring, as always, is amazing but I'm also in awe of your fussy cutting - Wow! Love the technique you used on the Celtic Knot as it gives it a real vintage appeal.

Gorgeous card, Sallie! Your water coloring is beautiful and it amazes me that you cut the image out! Well done! I love the shamrocks with the Celtic knot framing!
