Karen has given us some lovely colors this week. I've had this Anna Griffin card kit for a bit and the colors in it are perfect for the challenge (although I did have to be careful not to use any of the pink that was also included in the kit!)
The colors on the card base are close matches to the Heather and Pear. I die cut the doily from gold and the shadow layer from the Heather. I also backed the sentiment with a circle of the Pear. The blue in the flowers is very close to Balmy Blue.
I hope you've enjoyed my rather Victorian card - it's a bit different than my usual cards but I'm really enjoying making these.

A change of pace for you, Jeanne, but so beautiful, kind of Victorian in feel, all flowers and lace. You did a great job of picking just the perfect colors to include in your card!

This is so Beautiful, Jeanne! The doily area reminds me of an Easter bonnet, like the kind I used to wear when I was a little girl. Love the cb design. "Different" is a nice change, and in this case it worked perfectly for you~

Beautifully done, Jeanne! Love the old-fashioned, Victorian look. You do this style very nicely. The satin ribbon is gorgeous. All the elements are fabulous. Well done with the kit and the challenge colors.

At first I was wondering what planet you had moved to but it all made sense when I saw Anna Griffin. There is nothing like a kit to play with some styles different than our own and you've done beautifully with this pretty design. And, isn't it great to have different styles in our stash to appeal to recipients with tastes that vary from our own?
