Today is my brother-in-law's birthday, so I needed some inspiration to make his card. They just got a cute new dog, so I thought I would look for dog inspiration on the site, but I didn't find anything, so I just went browsing. This cute handwriting blanket looked like a good way to use a dad joke on my card. So I found a funny one about a dog and printed it with some notebook paper background. I recently bought this notebook paper border die from MFT. I've been wanting one for a while and I'm very happy with this one. I know I said I've been trying to use up my DP, but I also have a drawer of fabulous backgrounds that want to be used too. This is a piece of scrap paper that I used to clean my brayer and also did a bit of gelli printing on. I had tried to make a reference sheet for my fonts, but I had too many and that didn't work. It makes a cool background for this notebook paper doesn't it? Speaking of fonts--this is one of the ones I made on calligraphr.com.
