Inspired from an earlier challenge, I realized I don't usually do much in 'pink' or spring like colors. So I decided to challenge myself to try and use them more...it was harder than I thought! I originally stamped the flower and colored it in spots with the white pencil, sponged the ink and when I wiped it off the penciled spots it didn't look right, so I went over it with more pencil for definition. The embossed folder did a second pass through my machine with the plates only to flatten the design out a bit and I flipped it to use the debossed area. I added the 'B' side of 'Surfs Up' from Prima to tie in the pink and refrained from adding bling....Whew!

Your spring colors look great for those pretty flowers and I like your background, too. Wonderful sentiment.

Awesome looking card, Patti. Great mix of embossed pieces and the first thing that caught my eye was that lovely shimmery pink ribbon! Oh, and scrolling back up I see the adornment ribbon you also added. And no, I do not remember those but it reminds me of knitting yarn that I had used when I used to knit. Your sponged colors on that stitched oval look very pretty! Wonderful sentiment too!
