I only have a couple of angels and they are both on the Christmassy side of things. I did think I could add wings to something, but I also thought that I could cover up this one's holly wreath with stars, and I think that worked well. Stamped and masked the angel. Stamped and embossed the music with gold. I used Judikins Microglaze over the cloud area and then sponged in blues for the sky. I added some shimmer spray, and splats of white ink. In the end I didn't like the clouds just left white, so I used some Craft-T rub-ons. Coloured the angel with Polychromos, adding Stickles to her wings (and the panel edges) and SN clear glitter pen over her dress. Cut the stars from gold mirror card and covered up her holly wreath, adding in a few drops of green Liquid Pearls.
I may add the "music expresses that which cannot be said" sentiment, still trying to decide if it's suitable but the card title comes from that because I have it sitting on my desk awaiting a decision.

Very beautiful angel and I love the cloud feel under her on the music background. The addition of the gold stars and adding it to the halo is a wonderful touch.

this is fabulous.. those gold stars really shine through. The music gives a soothing affect, and the angel is playing a soft song for Veda. Adorable...

Well, I was studying your card and admiring the wreath of stars on her crown before I read your write-up; so, I can say you more than covered the holly and you did it beautifully and creatively. I ADORE the musical bg and the visual depth it adds to this card. Your angel is gorgeous; but, I imagine all the sheen and shine and glitter and metallics look stunning and she looks even more heavenly IRL. Gorgeous designing. Magnificent card.
