The teapotters are sending cards to John who could use some cheering up and he also loves getting cards. Jacqueline is our hostess and suggested interactive cards, which is not in my wheelhouse at the moment but there sure is lots of great cards from those who took up the challenge! I cased a card on pinterest for this one. I liked the idea of stamping the sentiment straight on the dp. and thank goodness it worked out. I diecut the snowflake dp. sliced off the end and glued it down to line up with the plaid dp. I backed the glimmer whipped cream with heavy c.s. and glued the bottom of it onto the hot chocolate and used thin dimensionals for the top part. I backed the mug with poppy parade cs. I diecut the snowflakes from heavy cardstock as well. Sequins are glued down with tiny glue dots (Zots Bling tiny 1/8" glue dots).

Your red cup is so pretty and I love your snowflake circle. And, just look at that wonderful foam. The plaid is something else is love. Awesome card, Shirl.

I love how you stamped the sentiment straight to paper--I'm always afraid I'll muck it up (which is usually what happens). The sparkly whipped cream looks extra delicious. Terrific card and sure to boost John's spirits!

You are rockin' that hot mug of chocolate die lately. Another yummy design and again your foam looks delectable with the glimmer paper. Love how you used the blue circle to highlight that fun cuppa. Awesome design and card and I'm sure John will feel warmed by this delight.

Shirl, I feel sure John must love this big mug of hot chocolate with the glimmery whipped cream! Must make him feel warm and cozy! I especially love the mug die cut from plaid dsp .... so perfect for a masculine card! I love the look of the deep blue snowflake circle against the plaid background! A beautifully designed card of encouragement for John!
