I first stamped the cake in white ink on Espresso, then washed the stamp and used black ink on the Mango layer and (for piecing) again on White and Pink scraps. I added the candles & sentiment to the Mango layer then die cut the panel & fussy cut and assembled my cake.
A quick run of the Pink through my EF, then added ribbon and for final assembly I flipped to landscape mode. A bit of bling and call it done!

If you thought her card was cute, you must think yours is adorable too because it is. Love the bright happy colors and your paper piercing on the cake is fabulous. Love how you piled all those candles onto the mango layer -- great both for the design and to go with the sentiment. Such a fun card. Such a happy birthday greeting.

You definitely can't go wrong with birthday cake! Super colors and such a fun card, Gayle. The extra candles are fun too. Great case. Hugz
