My first time with the Inspiration Challenge! Instead of making a card--I decided to go a different route and make a large bookmark to go in some coffee table sized books I have. After stamping in Versamark, I lightly mixed the three ep's on a piece of paper and sort of 'slid' it onto the cardstock. This was to try and create the effect of early evening in the trees where the light is changing. I lightly sponged the inks also to help create a dappled effect from the setting sun. This stamp really reminds me of our trip to Monterey/Carmel where even in the middle of summer, you get fog and murky light at dusk. I'm really happy with how this turned out.
It's a bit hard to see in the photo, but the sentiment says, 'Each new page reveals a new wonder to be experienced'. I thought it was perfect for my project. Enjoy!
