Lisa is hosting our Teaparty for Pat Turner who is celebrating her 70th birthday. Pat would love big and bold cards. I made an A6 card and used some bright pink foil cardstock to die cut a butterfly and the number 70. I used bright pink cardstock and a bright floral dsp. To embellish the tag I added a couple of narrow rows of cardstock that I diecut with a lacy edge die and then dry embossed the tag with a leafy embossing folder. The butterfly and numbers were adhered to the tag. Lastly, I added ribbons. Hope your birthday is fabulous, Pat.

I like the double layered tags, and the bigger card base gives them plenty of space to shine. Usually a larger tag pretty much fills the card, but here we can enjoy the floral paper too.

Super yin and yang between the very modern looking die cut pink metallic butterfly and the soft floral bg - I am pretty sure my Grandma had that wall paper on the upstairs bedroom walls - Pat's probably did, too. What's old is new again!

This is/was a knockout of a card to send to Pat. Love that pretty floral dp and the way you added those diecuts at the bottom of your tag along with the embossing! Beautifully done!
