 | | I'm late to the challenge, but this one was really fun. I hope to try this again. The samples were really gorgeous and I want to improve my skills so I can make something like the samples.
This card started with using the stitched edges from my trash pile because they were too pretty to throw away. I added the strip that was cut from another card. The bird was in my scrap pile too. I didn't like the way he was colored, so I used the inks that were on my palette to give him a red breast and added some crumb cake.
On the bird, I used the watercolor stamping, then overstamped with Timber Brown StazOn--added black and white highlights on his eye.
