I loved her samples on vellum. I used a couple of greens, a pearlescent green and gold after spritzing the vellum with alcohol. Then I dabbed some copper gilding flakes onto any patches that were still tacky when I was going to die-cut it. I embossed with probably my very first ef.
I had also been keen to try the gilded die-cuts from Falliday Fest - Gilded Die Cuts Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers. I regularly use gilding flakes on die-cut sentiments especially, but I liked the idea of combining them with the Perfect Pearls. I skipped the embossing step, because I didn't think it would work that well with the butterfly. I used gilding flakes and Perfect Pearls. I added a gel pen border and a sentiment from my desk - I got one of those ones that stamps 5at a time with different birthday wishes and the banner outlines on a separate stamp.
