My take on yesterday's WCW-painting dry brush grasses. It wasn't until she started to paint the grasses in that I realized she has used masking fluid for the flowers. I thought what I was seeing was her sketch. Oh well, I decided to stamp some tiny birds instead of trying to paint some flowers.
This is also for yesterday's sketch. I cut the flower out of a random piece of alcohol ink Yupo from stash, decided to sponge on some orange Distress ink through the negative before adding the flower. I used the same piece of Yupo on the left of the watercolor grasses, stamped with the same PB stamp that I got the tiny birds (I could use a tiny bird stamp). Added some gold dots around the flower.
Thanks for the challenges!

Good work with the dry brush technique and I really like the birds perched on your grasses. Thanks for joining in this week.

The birds are a nice touch, and the grasses have an ethereal distant look to them. You know - I didn't hear her say anything about masking fluid either but did remember seeing her rub it off later in the video.

Love the birds in place of the flowers. Very nicely done and I really like the sentiment~
In the video, there was a sentence that stated she masked the flowers.
