This week we are learning how to do Dry Brush Work with this tutorial by Wendy.
I will freely admit I had my doubts about this technique when I first started watching the video. Then she mentioned it works well with WC paper that has lots of texture. LIGHT BULB moment and I pulled out my Strathmore 300 Series which I usually hate because of the texture and it made this technique a piece of cake!!
I may have gone a bit overboard with the forefront grasses BUT if you look closely, you can still see the dry brushing in the background. This will make a nice generic card that can be used for many occasions.

I thought the same thing about Stacy. I like how the both of you have your grasses bent and flowing. You do have the perfect paper for this technique. Really love the flowers you created. They remind me of clover blooms. Sure, glad you found time to paint this week. It's a terrific addition to the gallery.

This is gorgeous and makes me feel I am outside with the grasses. I love that there are a few bent grasses just like real ones. Sweet flowers, too. Super painting, Linda.
