This is for today's Teapot Tuesday, all about shoes and taking life one step at a time. I don't have a lot of shoe stamps, so I dug through my digis and found this cute little girl image; I also found a line of shoes, which I used for the back panel. There's a sentiment on the back panel, totally obscured in the photo, that says "A girl can never have too many stylish shoes." I rarely attempt step cards, and managed to incorrectly score my first attempt at this one, but I think this came out OK. They are tricky to photograph, aren't they?

What a fun card! Love that sentiment and your sweet little girl in mom's shoes reminds so much of my daughter long ago. ...and yes those dimensional cards are hard to photograph. You did a great job!

I messed up on my fold a little bit even though I used a cutting template! Love the way your card came out and I chuckled because my seven year old son came out of my closet the other night wearing my yellow heels and wondering how anyone could walk in them, so it's not just girls that try on their mother's shoes. LOL!

I've done that when I was a child, I stole the high heels from my mother and fell down the stairs, I needed surgery and laid flat in the hospital for 3 months, I've learned from that and have never stolen my mother's shoes again, thank you for the memories!!
Fun step card and lovely girly colors and image

Oh such sweet memories of childhood and tottering around in my mom's high heels! While i did like wearing heels in my younger days, I gave them up permanently in my late 30's (they threw me off balance when I was playing bass and by the time I retired from the band at 70, I had no desire to put them back on . . .) I love the shades of lavender/purple (my favorite color) that you used to tie this card together. the bit of paper lace is such a nice feminine touch.

Starting early. No doubt this little cutie will be first in line at the shoe shop for some of those high heels. Nothing like starting out young. Very cute card.
