Today's Challenge was to paint a "loose & easy" winter scene - loose is not my style but I gave it my best shot. Hopefully there is at least an inkling of a feeling of peace & serenity.

Yes, indeed, I see a lot of peace and serenity in this painting. It is beautiful and I think your trees look great. I like the shadowed ones, too, in the background. Also, your hills look good. Merry Christmas.
