Barbara's got great colors for us this week and dessert is New Years. I thought I was just going to use a small bit of this fine gold shimmer paper but then I decided it would make a glorious background for the black and silver.
I'm not sure that this is going to be a birthday card or a New Year's card but I think it could work for either. Or both if I give it to my New Year's Eve "baby" who turns 35 this year. Black and Gold are also her college colors so I'm thinking this works.
Thanks for peeking. What will you do with these colors?

Fabulous! Love the design for the challenge colors. The gold shimmer paper is so beautiful. Wonderful card for either occasion and seems to work especially nice for your New Year's Eve baby!

Beautifully done Chris! I love the simplicity of your design, it reminds me of Goldilocks and her porridge, "it's just right"! I agree with you, this would make a wonderful birthday card too! TFS

OMG! I didn't know you had a New Year's Eve baby; I do, too! But mine is a guy, and he'll be 53 this year! I agree, this card is going to be a perfect Happy New Year/Happy Birthday for your girl. Love all the metallics!
