I maybe went a little overboard on the size, but I wanted plenty of room to put a message on the inside. I made my wreath out of "ornament balls," inspired by the ornaments on the trees in the patterned paper I used.
I cut my acetate with a circle die, & used another smaller circle die to cut the hole in my card base & patterned paper. I taped both dies together to cut 2 frames from pink cardstock. I adhered the acetate to one frame with double-sided tape, & adhered that to the front of my card. I laid the second frame over the circle on the back of my card, marked where to cut, cut it at the top of the card base, & then adhered it to the back of the acetate & card base.
I stamped my greeting in white StazOn ink onto the center of the acetate. I punched a slew of 1/2" & 5/8" diameter circles from cardstock scraps that coordinated with the colors of the ornaments in the patterned paper, & glued them around the acetate/frame. Finally, I added a coat of Glossy Accents to each "ornament ball" making up my wreath, to further the illusion.

What a great design with the "ornaments" around the wreath coordinating with the trees! I can see this also as a balloon wreath idea for other celebrations.
