I sized the cup image in Photoshop, & added the greeting (from the same set) onto the cup. Then I printed it onto a panel of watercolor paper. I used my watercolors to paint it. I had had the thought of lowering the opacity of the image for a no-line effect before printing, so I could draw marshmallows coming out from my hot cocoa, but I forgot, so no marshmallows. That's what you get for procrastinating & making Christmas cards so close to Christmas! LOL
After I finished the painting process, I cut the panel down to 3-3/4" square, and adhered it to a green 4-1/4" square mat. Finally, I mounted that to a card base the same size as the mat.

Lovely! Great idea adding the sentiment to the mug. I hear ya on procrastinating. I need to make Christmas cards! For me, every year it comes down to well, maybe postmarked by New Years?!
