My card for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge, Cheerful Greenery. Our recipient is fighting a health battle, and needs some kind thoughts and encouragement.
I've had this CE StampCuts die for a while, but never used it--so, here it is! It is a stamp and a die all in one--you ink up the die, place it carefully on the cardstock, and run it thru the machine. I die-cut two poinsettias, and enhanced the centers with the gel pens. Die-cut leaves from the other die set--a "cut, emboss, and stencil" set from Darice. Popped it all up on the brick EF panel with foam squares, including the sentiment stamped and die-cut with the circle dies. TFL!

Well, you needed to break out those poinsettias stamp/dies because they are beautiful. I love that you could stamp and die cut at the same time. I need to look into those. It really adds some lovely detail to the die cuts. Beautiful layout against the white brick. Wonderful card.

I've never come across that stamp and die in one before. It adds amazing depth to the poinsettia, very realistic. The centres are so well done too. This is lovely, Sandy.

Poinsettias grow here in Florida, so when we buy them to decorate for Christmas, we can plant them in our yards. This is a beautiful card for Marie, and I'm sure she will love it.

I didn't know they made dedicated "stamp & cut" dies. I have often inked my dies to bring out the details that can get lost when they are just an impression. The gold gel pen dots really add a richness to those blooms.
