How lovely that the Trahans were so blessed by their tea-party that they wanted to pay it on, so to speak.
No dogs, some holly for a seasonal plant and I incorporated a puzzle theme. Stamped the image and coloured with Polychromos. Sponged with distress. Added SN clear glitter pen on the star, glossy accents on the berries and Stickles round the edges after cutting. Looked through my stash (short on time, and in this freezing spell it's Arctic up in my attic) and found this one which was just Lavinia inkpads pressed direct to paper. I embossed with an SU folder and dotted Stickles over for more interest.

Stunning! I adore that image and how you colored and glitzed it up. So clever to use the puzzle die on the image. It works beautifully. The bg was probably lovely before, but the added embossing adds so much interest and texture. Fabulous card and Marie is surely going to love it.

Wow, on that background using those ink pads!! And then using that ef. Love how you got Marie's love of puzzles worked in. Your gold Stickles are perfect. So many interesting details on this.

I like the idea of creating a puzzle with the main image. Such a bright and happy background for the puzzle panel!
