Having well over a dozen origami books on the shelf, I would not call this origami ;-), but I do call it fun. I've tied knots like that for the sash on the paper doll tutorial, and it's certainly easier to tie in proper chiyogami paper, but I persevered and managed with one of the few double-sided suitable papers I could find.
The background is Lyn's coloured salted background from a while back, and I just added a branch and some leaves. I'll add a sentiment later on, I was doing well just to get this made.
