I die cut several birch trees & a doe and fawn from white cardstock. I also cut an A2 size panel from white. I used the "Falling Snow" stencil to add snow to the sky with molding paste. I made sure to leave room with no paste at the bottom so my hills wouldn't have textured dots popping through them.
I die cut 2 hills, & after the paste had dried, laid everything out on my panel. I wanted some of the trees behind the back hill & others in between the hills. I also wanted the doe behind one tree & in front of another, just for added depth. After I had everything like I wanted, I adhered the back hill just along its bottom edge. Then I tucked my trees in behind that, making sure they extended at least to the top of the panel. I adhered the bottom edge of my front hill & tucked in the rest of the trees & doe. I squirted liquid glue behind the tops of the hills to finish adhering them to the background. I added the fawn in front of the doe. I die cut the peace word from light teal cardstock, & cut off the star that's at the end. I glued that in place, & after cutting off the overhanging tree bits, adhered my panel to a white card base.

So beautiful and, indeed, a very peaceful scene. Thanks for describing your process. I love how the trees appear at different distances with all the layering you did. That snow stencil is really great and looks fabulous here. Wonderful card and one that Walt is sure to treasure.
