I inked up one side of my embossing folder with embossing ink, then dry embossed my watercolor paper panel. After heat embossing the debossed areas, I used green & blue Distress inks for the ink smooshing.
I stamped my greeting onto a scrap of white cardstock & die cut it with a label die. The die was a bit long, so after I ran it through my machine once, I shifted the die over on the die cut & ran it through again to shorten the label.
I die cut a snowflake from blue shimmer cardstock I had in my scrap stash. I wanted to put it behind my greeting label, but it got kind of lost on the background. So I cut a square of vellum & then tore the edges to go with the shabby chic vibe more. For added interest, I made a messy nest of white metallic thread. I adhered my snowflake to the vellum, sandwiching the thread in between. Then I adhered my greeting over the snowflake. I added double-sided tape to the back of the vellum behind the greeting, & adhered it to my background. Finally, I added the panel to a navy mat that I'd adhered to a white card base.
