hi there,
Here is my card for the WT today; Time Travelers.
This time of year for me is tough, I miss my parents so much! So I want to go back in time when my Mom and I would go with my Dad as he played Santa at many of our mall and at so many private parties, so many memories. He was also Santa at my school for many years and would visit all the classrooms. He was so much Santa, had such a professional suit that I still have to this day...just couldn't part with it.
This card was a quick one, embossed a piece of red cardstock, tore some white cardstock and added the buttons and belt.
thanks for looking.

What a precious and amazing memory to cherish; to have a dad who was actually Santa. Thank you for sharing the card and your memory.

I love your card...great texture! I am missing my parents and others especially this time of year, too. How amazing that your dad was "Santa"...i love your memories! And i wouldn't have been able to part with his suit either.

Karen, a touching card to remember your Dad. He must have been Santa in spirit as well as the Santa outfit he wore. Love how you did your CAS card. Tearing the white was bruilliant to get the "furry" look. No one can ever take away our precious memories!
What a great card Karen! Thanks for sharing the card & the sweet memories. Your Dad left a wonderful legacy in you! You are the 'year-round' Santa with your happy mail notifications to everyone!

Oh my, how fun to have had Santa as your dad. I like the texture you've added to the Santa suit -- usually, this style is done with plain paper, but the embossing really looks good.
